Lily was curious. ‘Why didn’t you tell anyone?’ she asked. Mrs Lee answered that she did not know who to tell. Lily ran straight to the police and told them about it. Later, the police tracked down David and asked him about Salina. Lily could recognize him. Soon, he was arrested in old Shanghai. A few years later, Lily started to think the name of her home. ‘Our place hasn’t had a name for decades.’ she said to the public. All of a sudden, she thought of a name, Shanghai. Shanghai is a word for sea on land in Chinese. To honour Salina, the mother of the sea, Lily made this name for old Shanghai. The majority agreed and this name was the name for Shanghai. Also, Lily sold Tiger milk to the public. Scientists renamed it as soya milk. They said it contained many healthy nutrients. From that day on, Shanghai was named and people still remember the mother of the ocean, Salina.
