The Shanghai Incident

CHAPTER 1
MY MOM TAKES ME BUNGEE JUMPING
It all started when my mom took me bungee jumping. My name is Holly Kindle and I am 14 years old i am an elf
and a female and I come from New Zealand (now back to the story). She thought it would be fun but I felt like
my guts were doing flips when something happened. My whole world seemed as if it stopped all together
everything was a mix of greens and blues and over hues. I was flipping out of control I heard a voice calling me
“ Holly Holly,” the voice called and then it stopped and the spinning stopped. I was eventually aware that I was
free falling and then I fell unconscious.
CHAPTER 2
AN ACCIDENTAL TRIP TO SHANGHAI
When I regained consciousness I was vaguely aware that I was in the middle of the Shanghai French Concession
and I remembered that I still had £100 in my pocket so I went to the money exchange store and swapped it for
12907.20¥ and thanked him in mandarin(all elf’s can speak basic of every language including animal). Then I went
to a store and had to stop for a while (elf’s can’t enter a building uninvited without side effects).When I recovered
I bought a hat (to cover my ears)and motion sickness tablets(to suppress the side effects of entering a building
uninvited). Then I explored my surroundings.
CHAPTER 3
I CREATE A PLAN
I had seen pictures of shanghai in the academy but I have never actually been there now that I was actually there I
was a whole new thing. Bustling streets filled with people yelling in foreign a foreign language then a thought hit
me (not literally you overzealous readers) that when I jumped off the plane I was thinking of Shanghai French
Concession so I need to jump off pearl tower and think of home i thought looking up.
CHAPTER 4
I jump of a skyscraper……literally
I bought a ticket to pearl tower, a packet of lettuce (meat is toxic to fairy’s if consumed), a mobile, a book and a
watch. Now phase 2 wait in line; while waiting I checked the mud men news read my book and ate 2 lettuce
leaves whole that took 1 hour and the line hardly moved so I bought some games on the mobile, 4 hours later I
finally made it inside. Free space at last! I could move freely again. I felt something in my pocket. I took it out, it
was a parcel with a neutrino blaster, an acorn, a multipurpose vest and a note reading “ My name is Alex Kindle I
am your brother turn the corner run and jump I will follow you .You are in grave danger you are being chased
by madras they will stop you no matter wat
Signed: Alex Kindle” .
I turned a corner and ran, when I reached the window I jumped momentum carried me forwards and the glass
shattered and I looked right someone else also jumped knees and elbows bent and we both hit the portal.
CHAPTER 5
What just happened?
Traveling through a portal has side effects those are :knocked unconscious, loss of fine motor skills when you land
and dizziness. So I needed to rest a while before I could move around my company was pacing while waiting he
was wearing a long hoodie to cover his face but a blue light shone out of his hood and I saw that he was also
wearing an OCP uniform he was holding a smart pistol.
CHAPTER 6
I follow my big brother
I followed Alex to the museum of science and history. He chanted a few words and a portal appeared leading
home I went through and as if nothing happened I was back where it all began.
