his is the year of 2061 and I was doing a research paper at school about the history of China. I was
deciding whether I should do the project about Old Shanghai or the Qin Dynasty. I finally decided on
the Old Shanghai so I programmed my time-travel phone to bring me to 1930’s in Shanghai, China.
I saw a glimmer of light and the next thing I knew, I was in Shanghai. I saw some well-furnished houses on
the northern part of Shanghai while some shabbier houses stood on the southern part. They were all made of
bricks and stone. I was dumbfounded! It was like two separate cities. Another thing I noticed was that some
