I gasped “Oh… okay, I’m actually an orphan that escaped from an orphanage. Though it would be nice to be
adopted.” I commented hopefully, blushing continuously.
My first day of work went tremendously well, the lady, Ms. Lee, was shocked by how well I could sew, and sold my
first dress for 240 dollars! I was surprised it sold so well, as it was only a crimson red dress, adorned with miniature,

A year later, I was working in the same store, the only different thing was my home and family. I had been adopted
by the lovely Ms. Lee, and was living the life that I could never have dreamed of, a friendly school, with tender
teachers, and never having to worry about getting whipped ever again. Though on Saturday’s I still tended to go
over and help my mother in the sewing store. The past was behind me, I could finally enjoy a well-deserved future.
