“What house?” I said. The next thing I knew I was running along streets following the cat called Mark. As I watched mothers and children stand on their porch waiting for the husbands and fathers to come home. At last we came to what looked like an abandoned house. The cat pushed open the door and I followed him into the house. We sat down in a dusty room and he began to speak. “Okay first of all I would just like to say sorry for everything you have been through. Your parents were great people and had a great business too.” At first I just stared with my eyes wide open, and when I finally understood what he was trying to tell me I answered. “How did you know my parents, and what do you mean they had a great business because what I was told was that they ran a coffee shop.” “Oh wow, we definitely have a lot to catch up on.” he laughed and so I sat there for an hour or so as Mark told me about my parents and that those bad guys that kidnapped me earlier only wanted me because of my parents work. Apparently they ran a TOP SECRET agency where they earned millions of dollars. They only wanted me because they thought they could get money out of me. “How do you know all of this?” I asked. Mark sighed and said, “I actually belonged to your family, I was your family pet.” “You mean you knew my parents!” I shrieked. “Very well actually.” He answered. We sat for hours as he told me about my parents. I haven’t found a home yet but I feel as though I have found a family, and that’s even better.
