But the shine clouded his mind . He trudged towards the shimmering radiance and there in front of him lay a sword with a mix of piercing light and pain . He scrambled towards the blade and picked it up with ease . Instantly , a rumble shook the mountains . Rocks fell down blocking one route . But there were more ways out . A quivering fear crept upon Henry . Silence . And suddenly ... Roar ! The legendary , magnificent Opium Dragon appeared out of nowhere .
The battle had only begun . A swipe of his claw or blazing breath would be the end of Henry . But if he got a strike to the neck , it would be the end of the Opium Dragon and opium dens . The Dragon leapt into action with a slash aiming for his opponent ’ s back , but an agile dodge denied death . Henry spotted a pouch on the dragon ' s back . Shining light flooded the inside of the pouch . There it was , the Hai Crystal ! But with little time remaining , Henry knew that there was no time to lose , so he had to react quickly and efficiently . " Stop thinking ," he thought to himself , " and fight !" The dragon lunged a claw at him but Henry stood his ground and sliced the dragon ' s claw off like hot butter . The dragon ' s roaring scream eerily echoed around the mountain . He was not giving up though . The beast grabbed Henry in his devastating jaws but just as the dragon was about to have dinner , Henry gathered all his strength and threw the dragons massive claw spinning toward the neck . The open gash spilled blood . The dragon let out a final screech before tumbling to its gruesome death . Henry quickly took the pouch and set off towards home .
The birds ' song sounded like an orchestra playing . It was beautiful as the small streets of Old Shanghai shot into view . The market place was full of crowds again and the lanterns bobbed with pride . But suspiciously , no opium or awful drug smokers could be seen … And only Henry knew why . As Henry returned to the Shangit town , he was crowned a saint and king of Shangits . After returning to its old home , the Hai Crystal was never touched ever again . As Henry got older , he became the most famous Shangit ruler of all because he made the empire opium-free forever .
