Goblins in Old Shanghai

nce upon a time, there lived thousands of tiny goblins. They dressed all the same with black shoes, red
clothes, green body and blue hats.
One sunny morning when they woke up, they saw the sun shining down onto one of the goblins’ bed, he woke up.
Then the king wanted all the goblins to go to old Shanghai and find more little goblins. Give them the same
costumes. Finally they arrived in old Shanghai. The goblin that woke up very early was called Sam and he was the
tallest goblin in the whole world. One of them shouted out, “It’s amazing! I’ve never been here before!” Then it
was silent. It was a magic moment and then everyone laughed until tears appeared from their eyes. Suddenly Sam
stopped laughing because he remembered that they had to find goblins in this entire city. It was raining, however
they kept on looking until an elegant lady told them “It’s raining. Go back to your home. ” One of the little goblins
discovered the gentle lady was an evil person, so she whispered to another goblin, “She is our enemy.” “Oh, I know
it, thank you!” said the goblin. Then the lady walked away and the goblins left too.
It was time to eat dinner. Three hundred small goblins went to find woods, two hundred goblins went to buy
matches and ten went to the butcher’s to buy some meat. Then they started eating.
After a while when they had finished dinner, they went back on their journey. They found a dark cave. Tiptoed,
they went through the long tunnel. “Where are we?” asked a small goblin. “In a cave, of course” said a strange voice
from the deep of the cave. Deeper and deeper, one pair of shiny eyes appeared in the dark. It turned out to be an
Ice Witch. She laughed crazily, “Ha ha……this is an ice cave! You are going to freeze to death!” One of the goblins
said, “I have a fire stick and it is very funny.” Then every goblin smiled because they were not afraid. The Ice Witch
was melted. The goblins found the other new goblins in the cave and they also found a lot of diamonds. They
cheered, “Hooray!”
When they came back home, everyone was very happy. The king also came to old Shanghai and they lived in that
city happily ever after.
