Tom was disappointed and he tried to beg the woman “Please give me a chance to try, I‘ll be very helpful.” The woman shook her head and pointed him the way out. Tom left the restaurant with a dark mood and a tired body; he went to the nearby street and sat down to take a rest. He exclaimed, “What a bad day! Let’s take a rest first, tomorrow will be a good day.” He slept on the cool and dirty ground for a night. Next day, the sunshine on his face and the rooster’s crow woke him up; he walked pass the street and saw some people were performing puppet show. He decided to try the performance too. He performed breakdance on the street; he used different body movements, spins, arm movements and leg movements. The people thought the performance was interesting, amazing and they never see before, it was fresh to them and they liked it very much. So they gave him a lot of money. Tom was delighted and he earned a lot of money. He used the money to buy a new black suit for himself, a pair of shining shoes and a tall hat. He looked like a rich gentleman so he didn’t feel embarrassed anymore. After shopping for the new clothes, he went to the restaurant; he ate a lot of yummy food, such as noodles, fried rice and Dumplings. He felt satisfied. Tom was full with a big tummy, he needed a walk. So he went to the famous place The Bund. The Bund is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. It was wonderful! He sat on the long chair near the river bank to take a rest, it was relaxing. Soon Tom felt sleepy and finally he slept on the chair. When he heard someone was calling him, he woke up quickly. He found himself was in the hospital bed, the nurse was calling him to eat the breakfast. “Oh! What a fantastic dream!” Tom said. A few weeks later, he could walk again. He was happy and bought the ticket to Shanghai immediately to meet his family.
