rashing onto the dock, the waves mercilessly splashed onto the boats. Even as a child, my dreams were
farfetched and never ending. Just a minute ago, I was still caught in my daydreams, lying on the shore
peacefully. As I awoke, my eyes widened. The horse riding race in Wujiaochang … My heart was pumping out of
my chest. After a second, a frustrated groan escaped my lips. I had missed it again. Abruptly, my sister bolted
towards me. Her eyes met mine and she glared at me fiercely.
“You missed it again, didn’t you?” She muttered, “and I even got you a ticket!” She ran her fingers through her
hair, and stormed away.
Trudging towards the Huangpu Bookstore, a beaten down temple caught my eyes. Being the daring girl I was, I
crept into the dim, murky remains of a grand palace. Through the hallway, it seemed to get more mysterious and
eerie. I shudder
