Homosurrealism Magazine #45 Homosurrealism Magazine 45 | Page 13

TECHNOCULTURE is an art technique created for younger artists who may find it interesting. The example of TechnoCulture on these 3 pages begins with a collage I made showing old and new technology. In the piece at left, a simple collage which includes a drive-in speaker is used. The finished piece was sent to Piotr Urbaniak in Berlin for Piotr to provide the tinting and the information, artist's names, etc. to the piece. It was then sent back to me. All of this is done via Facebook or e mail.

After the information on the poster below left was verified and approved by the individual artists , I began work on making the poster interactive.

The picture on the next page shows the components used in the production of this piece. The piece was a collaboration between myself, Piotr, Joel and other artists, Wilhelm Vincent who provided me with an MP3 file.

You will also see a small speaker, power source and microprocessor also known as a touch board. The poster employed electric paint which was invented by Bare Essentials in London.

Finallly, the picture on the right has an MP3 file that you can hear. Just hit the WHITE ARROW.

All of of these gadgets were carefully taped to the back of the poster and hung at the London Show.

If you would like to learn details about how to do TechnoCulture, just send me an e-mail and I give you all the details.
