Q Tell us about your company ‘Cedar & Suede’ Q What trends or design styles are you following at the moment? your styling advice for Q What is looking to change up readers Cedar & Suede is a design studio and blog with video focus. Michael and I are well aware of our strengths and weaknesses. He is the master of layout solutions whereas materials, finishes and furnishings are my passion. Romantic and decadent interiors are making a comeback as of late and we’re seeing a lot of velvet, brass, darker timbers, tufted upholstery and curved lines. Really layered interiors with rich colours and textures make my heart sing and I feel like no interior is complete without something that draws upon a little history. Michael leans towards more modern, minimal design and clean lines but we have learned when to bow out. When decorating your home, your unwavering motivation should be about injecting personality and warmth into your spaces. If you have ever been tempted to give your light and bright home some sass, sophistication, mood and mystique, Winter is the time to do it. Similarly, with our blog and video content, I am the wordsmith and Michael is the computer wiz.
