Quality Committee
The Quality Committee is a committee of the Hometown Health Board of Directors that meets quarterly and is comprised of Board Members , the Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Services and the Medical Director acting as staff . The committee reports directly to the Board of Directors of Hometown Health Management Corporation .
The committee is responsible for implementation and oversight of the Quality Program and establishment of Quality Improvement goals .
The committee reviews and recommends changes to marketing and service-related issues .
This committee has oversight of :
• Quality Improvement / Utilization Management Committee
• Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
• Medical Affairs Committee ( Credentialing )
• Member Grievance Committee
• Health Hotline
Quality Improvement / Utilization Management Committee
The Quality Improvement / Utilization Management Committee meets monthly and is composed of network primary care and specialist physicians , as well as the Hometown Health Medical Director , Healthcare Utilization Management Director and Quality Improvement Administrator .
This committee evaluates and recommends medical functions and activities that promote improved quality and the delivery of appropriate , efficient patient care by providers contracted with Hometown Health .
