NORTHWEST
WASHINGTON, D.C.
World-Class Living
Northwest Washington is one of the most desirable places to live in the greater D.C.
area. A paragon of sophistication and class, the historic quadrant is home to tree-lined
streets, the central business district, the Federal Triangle and many of the city’s major
landmarks — including the National Cathedral, the White House, universities and the
museums along the northern side of the National Mall. Northwest Washington, D.C.,
which sits at the cross section of four Metro lines, is one of the city’s most centrally
located areas. A cluster of new restaurants and bars, helmed by some of the nation’s
top chefs, continues to put this area on the culinary map. In addition, a dynamic
social calendar brings a rotating roster of high-profile shows and performances to the
area, allowing Washingtonians to enjoy opera at the Kennedy Center or exhibits at the
National Gallery of Art, the Smithsonian, the Phillips Collection or the Sackler Gallery.
Northwest Washington, D.C., offers an array of luxury residential opportunities
in a variety of communities. As the city’s oldest neighborhood along the Potomac
River, Georgetown is best known for its federalist architecture, historic rowhouses,
cobblestone streets and legendary university. Residents tout the nightlife, dining scene
and art galleries on Upper Wisconsin Avenue as part of its appeal.
One of the city’s most popular places to live is Dupont/Logan Circle. This area is a hub
for urbanites with an edge, thanks to its dynamic mix of sophisticated condos and
lofts, museums, art galleries, offbeat shops, coffeehouses, sidewalk cafés and hip
restaurants, as well as two theaters — Source DC and Studio.
Kalorama is one of D.C.’s most expensive and sought-after historic neighborhoods,
recently garnering attention for its famous new residents who have moved in since the
presidential election. The community is known for its distinguished turn-of-the-century
residences and quiet setting, bordered by Woodley Park, Adams Morgan, Foggy
Bottom, Georgetown and Dupont Circle, despite being only a 13-minute drive from the
White House. It’s also within walking distance of restaurants and art galleries.
Northwest Washington, D.C. represents the best of luxury living in the nation’s capital.
