can't co mmunicate with a teacher who tells them to put a "finge r
on the place"; there is no response from the text, neither lights
nor bells.
Religion can be believed for no other reason than the fact it
is the viable premise of government that imposes law on the
populous of shared dwelling environs. Texts don't have to be
scrutinized as long as the purpose is to co mfort the mind with
the difficulty of survival. We need to cease fro m labors on the
seventh day because that behavior is proscribed by the Good
Book. We probably won't find jealousy or pride in the vegetable
or animal kingdoms, no rage as an outcome of having their pride
offended, and there is no sociological measure ment of prope r
conduct among the members of the animals, fowl, or fish. If
scientist defines religion as "Intangible emotional solace," that
becomes one's goal in life; to find comfort that shall offer the
pro mise to pass through infinity in a manner respectable to
humankind. Creative and mythical storytelling is to affirm tha t
I fear nothing since I AM but a flicker in the mo ment of life
eternal. That is reason enough to be appreciated; as I AM ONE,
there is no competitive stresses in that realm.
My possessions are useless as a weapon against the hapless
loneliness of human existence. Human robots; hybrid hum-bots
in which hearts and brain functions will be replaced b y
electronic apparatus, will overtake death and the being (bereft
of soul essence) recognized with rights like any citizen . Huma n
babies and animal clones can be procured on demand, new
che micals are being manufactured, devolution of terra firma
coupled with propagation of new-fangled monstrosities is
rampant, and the earth is in the throes of death; not even taking
catastrophic global weather conditions into account . The names
and natural settings of species ha ve changed, forests are parched
lands, lakes, and rivers become deserts; natural habitats wiped
off the face of the earth.
