Pleasant allocations during one's lifetime buy s miles that never age. A seed excreted by a bird settles into the ground; neighboring che mical substances nourish it until vegetation is borne to life with specific molecules flowing into its circulatory system fro m which it develops the trunk, branches, leaves, and fruit. T he process could continue for the hundreds of years that it takes to grow into a towering old Oak Tree. Leaves wither and nouris h the roots, the ste ms and branches increase in thickness and lengthen without adding so much weight they would break under the strain. The fibrous outer layers encompass and secure the sustainability and viability of the inner core, and though there seems to be nothing similar in the physicality of the huma n being; here is an outstanding exa mple of honoring ones elders. The bark of the tree seems solidified but it can't be, because with each additional year the circumference of the tree widens. The inner layers transfer the materials that allow natural expansion, to the elderly furthest out most layers that guard and protect new growth. Trees and their root system grow in perfect harmony with the soil. A Tree of Life as existed in the Garden of Eden is truly a brilliant manifestatio n. A Lent Hand Hindsight to the grandpa or grand ma his family considers a nuisance. No longer laden with responsibility to earn sustenance to support his fa mily, he has shown lackadaisical tendencies to ignore matters of principle, areas of sociological i dentificatio n that are the source of pride . His clothes are soiled, home environment unke mpt, he calls on the phone several times a week complain about the lack of attention he receives, lies in bed most the day and suffers fro m insomnia at night. As the generation progresses in electronic, technological, medical, and mechanical advances, the realm of social involve ment is deprecated. Old people live decades longer than they used to; alone, nowhere to go, and with nothing to do. This pain of ego frustration must be avoided at all costs, if we wish to engender comradery with our surroundings.
