The City of Arlington is working with the Texas Rangers and The Cordish Companies to ensure the diversity of the workforce for both the future ballpark and the Texas Live ! development .
Arlington-based dlb Consultants is providing local / diverse business inclusion monitoring and compliance services related to the inclusion of local minority and women-owned enterprise ( MWBE ) firms in the Texas Live ! project .
As of May 31 , 2017 , 13 minority and women-owned business enterprises have received contracts at this early stage of the project .

In addition to attending monthly advocacy organization meetings , dlb Consultants has also organized several events to engage local and minority businesses in the Texas Live ! project . Those include a project overview and briefing to the National Association of Minority Contractors-DFW chapter in January , the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association in February and to the Women Business Council Southwest in April .
