Acts 29 Consulting Adds Globe Life
Field to Its Growing Design Portfolio
From the rows of inviting
concession stands lining the
concourse to the Texas Rangers’
new headquarters, Acts 29
Consulting, LLC. can see its mark
across Globe Life Field. providing document review
services for the design and
construction industry. Since
its inception, the company
has grown to include full MEP
engineering services.
The company was selected to
help design the food service
areas within the new climate-
controlled ballpark in Arlington,
as well as portions of the
Rangers’ new office building. The
ballpark is just the latest in the
company’s growing portfolio,
which includes senior living,
higher education, healthcare
and other facilities. “Our vision is to be the best
collaborative design firm
now and into the future. We
understand that there is no
substitution for quality and have
built our business around this,”
Short said. “Client satisfaction
is our upmost commitment to
our clients, and we have realized
this best through a collaborative
team approach regardless of the
delivery method.”
“It was a huge feather in our
cap. The key to Acts 29 being
selected as the minority entity
over all the others that had
longer resumes was due to our
culture of collaboration,” said
Matt Short, Acts 29 Consulting
president. “It just proves that you
don’t have to be the biggest or
most well known to be good at
what you do.”
Acts 29 Consulting, which has
13 employees, has a passion for
working with the community.
It launched in 2008 as a quality
assurance/quality control MEP
engineering consulting firm,
The retractable-roof ballpark,
which opens next March,
isn’t Acts 29 Consulting’s only
Arlington project. The company
also designed more than
30 projects at Texas Health
Arlington Memorial Hospital,
Short said.
Acts 29 Consulting commended
the City of Arlington and
the Texas Rangers for their
commitment to providing
meaningful opportunities for
minority and women-owned
businesses to participate in the
ballpark construction.
“The City and the Rangers are
benefactors of a diverse audience.
The result is mutually benefitting,”
Short said. “We look forward to
supporting the Rangers in their
inaugural season at their new
ballpark!”
