2 H.O.P.E. H.O.P.E. — Helping Others and Providing Encouragement— is a program that was established in 2007 as a way to ensure that money donated be given back to patients who are receiving hospice care. The fund helps provide education and equipment that will be used to assist with a patient’s quality of life. Through the years, H.O.P.E. has been able to assist patients with additional medical benefits, medical equipment, window A/C units, wheel chair ramps and numerous trips to various Branson attractions. CMH Hospice would like to recognize and thank the following individuals for their generous, monetary donation to the CMH H.O.P.E. program. Staff Paula Sterling HCS Office Manager Joyce Silvers Hospice Secretary CMH employee for 18 years. CMH employee for 4 years. Jennifer Dickerson Home Health Secretary CMH employee for 2 years. Paula is the supervisor for CMH Home Health and Hospice secretaries. She is responsible for scheduling the nursing staff, ordering all of labs, medical and office supplies. Paula is the office “go to” person. Joyce is responsible for tracking all of the Hospice patients’ paperwork, ensuring all Medicaid paperwork is correct and submitted to the state, directing telephone calls, merging of patient files and Health Transit billing Jennifer is responsible for referral intake, physician orders, Carelink setup, directing telephone calls, some payroll, insurance verification, scheduling of bath aides and being the initial contact for Home Health patients and families. “I love the people here. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. We are all intertwined like one big family.” “I like the people. Everyone is very genuine and caring. The atmosphere here is always pleasant.
