�e Granary �e Stables
�e Linhay
The granary is the conversion of the old roundhouse and grain barn completed in spring 2004. All the floors upstairs, in the bedrooms downstairs and in the roundhouse are wooden and the roof trusses have been left exposed.
The Granary sleeps 8 in two doubles and two twins, with two bathrooms. The lounge and dining area is a 22ft semi-circular space with comfy sofas and chairs, a wood burner, a large dining table, TV and DVD player. The upstairs rooms have tall dormer windows to enjoy the views and the kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and much else. Outside is a patio area with BBQ.
The Stable is the conversion of the old Stable was completed in spring 2007. Like the other conversions we have tried to do this as sympathetically as possible, using oak sourced from our farm to blend in with older material. This is the best of the conversions for viewing the barn owls as they have nested for the last 3 years in a shed overlooked from the Stable.
The Stable sleeps 6 in one double and two twin rooms, with two bathrooms. The lovely kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and so on, and the comfortable, pretty lounge has a TV, DVD and patio doors leading to the sunny patio.
The Linhay is the conversion of the old cart and grain store completed in Spring 2005. We have retained original oak posts and used oak sourced from our farm to blend in with older material. There is a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen dining area and exposed timbers in the sitting room. This building was last re-roofed in 1905, we know because the builder signed his name on the ridge board, so it has some history!
Linhay Cottage sleeps 4 in one double and one twin, with a power-shower room and was once the grain store. The kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer and the lounge a woodburner, TV, DVD and patio doors leading out to the pretty patio area.
Pattard cottages are situated in the parish of Hartland North Devon at Pattard which is a 90 acre farm. This is an area of outstanding Natural beauty with its wooded valley and cliff top walks. It is within easy reach of Hartland( 0.5 miles) and the coast( approx 2 miles).
Hartland carnival week is the first full week August culminating in the carnival procession on the Saturday night at the end of that week.
