LUXURIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS
Each of the 189 rooms , suites , penthouses , and villas is a sanctuary of bygone-era charm and design-led luxury , the classic monochrome palette accented with whimsical splashes of colour . The only challenge is choosing your favourite — will it be a palatial villa with an infinity pool or an intimate suite with a private steam room ? Our Club Terrace Suite with Panoramic Oceanview included access to the fabulous Club Lounge ( more below ) and stepped out to a spacious terrace with sweeping ocean and jungle views . Inside , the room was seriously luxe with a king bed , opulent furnishings , and an oversized bathroom with a deep marble bathtub . We greeted each day on the terrace , soaking up the sea breezes and incredible views . Just a word of caution though : keep an eye out for the cheeky macaque monkeys — rumour has it , there ’ s one known for raiding minibars !

Located on the Heaven level , the exclusive Club InterContinental lounge offers breakfast , afternoon tea , and complimentary cocktails with canapés in a light-filled and airy space . The food was spectacular , but what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service . For instance , when my phone ’ s charging port stopped working , one of the staff ( thanks , Maximus !) went above and beyond by bringing his wireless charger from home for me to use . This level of care and attention exemplifies the outstanding hospitality we encountered from every single staff member at the resort .
