Shyona didn’ t have intentions of being recognized as a video vixen or a glamour model, but as a diverse commercial and print model. Shyona took a different approach. After becoming a young mother, she knew she had to set a great example for her daughter, as well as other young girls who looked up to her. Being labeled as a diverse model Shyona was able to go into any market and dominate with her versatility. She began submitting herself to castings for TV, film, commercial and print work. Landing her first acting role in Boomtown Productions“ The Spot” as character Tiona, she was determined to be on set. Shyona has been on set of“ The Game”,“ Let’ s stay together”,“ Good Deeds” as well as“ Vampire Diaries”. In addition she has been featured in Source magazine as well as various websites. Shyona has recently launched her 2k13 Calendar and become the new face of“ Goldilox Hair House” where she will represent a luxurious hair extension company. Shyona says“ I feel very blessed to have come this far against all odds,
even though I am nowhere near where I want to be, it feels great. I believe in staying two steps ahead because it’ s better than falling one step behind.” This is only the beginning of Shyona’ s legacy, at the young age of 22 she will continue to persevere and she will succeed.
