P-We appreciate you giving up some time for the interview. Hows things? R-Everything is all good I appreciate u all for having me P-For sure, What inspired you to name yourself Rell Cash? R-My birth name is "Lorell" n I've been called "Rell" my whole life by family n friends so it stuck but "Cash" was added to it cuz I'm all about that money lol P-I feel ya. For all who don’t know, where is your hometown? R-Milwaukee, WI born n raised P-Alright, shouts Milwaukee!! Let's talk about the song GinLife. What was going through your head when you first heard that instrumental? R-MANN!! When I first heard it I just zoned out the track is crazy! I just started flowin I was in the crib pacing back n forth rhyming for like 10 minutes and I had the whole song done in my head! No pen, No pad! P-Whattttt!!! No pen and no pad that’s skillzzz. Many artists would struggle with a beat like that, but you went in and made it look easy. So I gotta ask what that moment was like after you heard the finished version of GinLife? R-I was so in time with the beat when I heard it I just felt it, I think every artist can hear something that triggers ‘em and they just go from there and that's exactly what I did. Once the track was finished I was like "Yea, Yo this the one.” P-I agree with ya, I was listening to submissions that day for hours, falling asleep and then GinLife came on, The energy had me instantly LIVE so congrats on the hit. If you weren’t in the Music industry, what do you think you would be doing right now? R-Thank you. Man that's hard to say you know, I played college basketball and I had hoop dreams, so hopefully I would be somewhere making the most of those talents if I wasn't doin’ music. If not, only God knows. It's crazy where I'm from. P-I feel ya. It’s one thing to make hits, but you also got a strong fan base, so you must be grindin’. Something tells me this ain’t your first win. So I gotta WWW.HNSRADIO.COM ask, up to this point whats’ a real memorable moment in your career? R-Man I certainly appreciate my fan base to the utmost! Although I'm on the rise they stand behind me n they are loyal, but I believe that the fans will be loyal to you if you are loyal to them, and as an artist I'm loyal to them by making good music. P-That’s real talk, well said R-With that being said I have a winner’s attitude I WILL NOT LOSE. EVER! And I will continue to make good music P-Alright you def proved that since we on the topic about keeping your fans happy. Many listeners do not appreciate the level of talent you must have acquired to be able to produce consecutive hot songs. Did you have to work hard to master this, or does it come naturally for you? R-To be good at something you have to work at it PERIOD. That goes from tying shoes, to designing buildings. Rapping is easy anyone can rap! Painting a picture verbally takes hard work and skill and I certainly work hard on that. P-Is there anyone you wanna shout out? R-Mos def. I wanna shout out the fans, my followers on twitter, their followers on twitter first because they spoke n they were heard!
