This year the senior girls team went to the New Zealand Secondary School Squash competition in Tauranga as the 6th seeds , our lowest seeding in three years . Our team was made up of Jena Gregory , Kiera Thompson , Sammy Mattsen , Tayla Hook and Tia List . We had a great tournament and everyone played beyond expectation . We were very excited to end up fourth , beating our seeding by two places . To end the successful weekend , both Jena and Kiera were named in the New Zealand Trans-Tasman Secondary School Team , with Jena being named captain to round off her secondary school squash career . It was a great experience for all of the girls .
