2021 – An interesting year of ups and downs . Many of the off-site activities that we had planned for the year were cancelled as a result of Covid-19 level restrictions . Our students didn ’ t let this phase them and they just pushed ahead and handled all the changes . During the Lockdown period , they all worked really hard online .
One thing we did get to do was our four-day camp at Riverbend Camp . The students loved the Planetarium visit and enjoyed the Faraday Centre . We had a wonderful day at Napier Aquatic centre and held loads of team building activities at camp .
Another highlight was performing at Toi Toi , taking part in the Polyfest Showcase and sharing our Pasifika dances to a huge audience . The students absolutely loved this and performed incredibly well .
We welcomed two new students , Cordayne and Corbyn , who are a wonderful addition to our crew . During the year , Zibby and Ryan left us but Stephanie , Holly and Lee joined us . Josh headed back to university at the end of the year .
