Guidance and Attendance Teams

If you need to talk to someone in private about any issue during your time here , our Guidance team are here to help , right the way through your studies . They ’ ve got supportive team members at every campus who are always happy to chat , listen , and help .

It might be money worries , or concerns about your course . It might be something more personal . Whatever is on your mind , you can talk to our respectful , nonjudgemental , helpful teams in complete confidence .

And if there ’ s anything they can ’ t help you with , they work closely with a number of agencies across Fife and beyond who specialise in a whole variety of different areas .

The Attendance Advisers work with you , your lecturers and course tutors to make sure you are making it to all your classes or studying on your own so you do not fall behind on your course .

Attendance Advisers can assist with any attendance concerns or issues that may arise , including funding issues , engagement issues or on-going medical conditions and will work closely with other teams such as the Guidance team and Inclusion team to ensure that you are fully supported .

The Guidance and Attendance teams are here for you from the moment you apply for a course , throughout your time studying at the College , and whilst you prepare for your next course or stepping into the world of work .

The Guidance and Attendance teams also provide extra support for Student Carers and Care Experienced students .

Health and Wellbeing

Fife College is committed to the provision of high quality support for students to safeguard physical , emotional , and mental wellbeing .

Your Health and Wellbeing Adviser is available at each of our campuses , and can also be found online via the Student Portal .

Support for Care Experienced Students

If you are Care Experienced we have a Corporate Parenting Co-ordinator who can help and support you . If you need help and support engaging with other support agencies we can help you to connect with the right agencies .

We can support you prior to coming to college and throughout your student journey .

We aim to include our Care Experienced students within Fife College in consultations , discussions and debates on all matters which affect their lives .
