With our creative industries department , you could study a range of courses from sound production to photography , screen production to media and communication , and much more . Our lecturing staff will apply their industrial and teaching experience and knowledge to help you become a successful contributor and producer in the creative industries .

HND in Visual Communication : Graphic Design
I would have loved to have studied art when I left school , but it wasn ’ t to be at that time . At 48 , I thought if I don ’ t go to college now , I ’ ll never do it ! I chose the NC : Graphic Design / New Media course as it covered a variety of subjects that I was interested in .
All the different age groups in the class got along so well and I couldn ’ t wait to return to study HNC and then HND : Visual Communication . It was hard work when you had a few different design projects to work on at the same time and deadlines to keep , but it was fun too .
The lecturers were great and were always encouraging me to push myself out of my comfort zone and to believe in myself and my abilities .
