This course is based on building surveying and will incorporate attributes of how to inspect buildings and to decide what would be required to repair or maintain them . The course will be delivered at our Glenrothes campus as either a full-time or a day release programme , encompassing units which are suitable to survey a building .
Entry Requirements
One Higher at Grade C or above in a relevant subject ; plus three National 5s at Grade C or above which must include Maths
National Certificate : Built Environment ( with additional Maths for Construction Technicians unit )
Foundation Apprenticeship : Civil Engineering SCQF Level 6
Another relevant course at SCQF Level 6
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
Further Study
HND : Building Surveying at another Scottish institution
This nationally recognised course has been designed to provide all the knowledge and understanding necessary for a career in construction management .

Fife has a long history of providing training for the furniture industry , and we continue to develop the highest standards of skill and craftsmanship for which this course is recognised . Design and manufacture projects are integrated to fully enhance the design and make ethos and the course aims to enable you to develop innovative and creative designs for furniture related artefacts .

Higher : Craft Design at Grade C or above
Higher : Product Design at Grade C or above
An appropriate portfolio of design work

HND : Furniture SCQF Level 8
This course has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding necessary to start a career in quantity surveying . It is also ideal for those already working in the sector who are looking to gain a promotion . You will obtain 12 SQA credits to achieve your HNC .
