The main purpose of this HNC is to prepare learners for employment in a range of human resource management roles in a variety of employment settings . It is designed to match the needs of employers , providing human resource management specialists who are adaptable to change , flexible in their roles and attitudes , and able to develop a clear understanding of their HRM roles and responsibilities .
Entry Requirements
One Higher , plus four National 5s at Grade C or above
Foundation Apprenticeship : Business Skills SCQF Level 6
Foundation Apprenticeship : Financial Services SCQF Level 6
Intermediate Certificate : Business Enterprise including a minimum of 12 SQA credits
Relevant industry experience and / or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

This course has been designed to provide learners with the relevant knowledge and skills for entry level jobs in marketing , advertising and public relations . This includes greater focus on practical skills , particularly in the use of digital and social media techniques in marketing communications , while still ensuring a solid grounding in basic marketing theory and practice needed to progress to the HND award or into introductory level employment in the sector .
