Driving investment and growth
As part of the national Network, we have contributed to the leveraging of £ 1.5 billion of investment into the national health and care innovation ecosystem.
Over the last 12 months we worked with NHS, industry, local government, academic and other partners to submit 16 grant applications, including successful bids to the British Heart
Foundation to undertake a CVD prevention programme in the region, and successful funding for the development of a theatre scheduling solution.
In addition, £ 8,097,470 was secured from 10 successful bids submitted the previous year. 29
