FLACKWELL HEATH COMMUNITY LIBRARY Successful Crafts & Book Sale at the Village Picnic We were delighted that so many people came to visit us at this year’s Flackwell Heath Village Picnic. A steady stream of young children were busy making crafts or doing colouring, while the book sale was very popular. Congratulations to the winner of the colouring competition, which finished on August 5th, who receives a family ticket gratefully donated by Odds Farm Park. Keep an eye open for our next creative activity for the younger children, which will be our Halloween competition in October. Gazebo for Hire The gazebo which we used for the village picnic is available for hire at £25 for a weekend. Shown in the photo, it measures 3m by 4m and has four separate side curtains – though we only used two at the Picnic. Contact the library if interested.
