Sitting in the comfort of the Community Library we’ll be visiting locations which were familiar to the ‘men on the memorial’ back in 1914. Each stop on the tour holds a WW1 story so come along to listen to the tales. This is a ticketed event. The tickets are available at the library from 18th September, and are £5 (£3 to friends of FHCL). Please note that tickets will not be available on the night. The Common, Flackwell Heath. This will be commemorated in towns and villages throughout the country by a Beacon of Light, to be lit at exactly 7.00pm. The Local History Group is working with other groups in the village to
