The Beaconsfield Society are
excited to announce the following
events celebrating the life and
works of Sir Terry Pratchett, who
sold more than 85 million books
worldwide and who also happens
to have been born and raised right
here in Beaconsfield.
Saturday 6th October
Quiz night hosted by Quizzy Sue!
Come along and test both your general and Terry Pratchett-based knowledge, and have
a drink from our fully licensed pay bar. You can even channel your inner Discworld
character and come in fancy dress. Best outfit wins a prize!
Tickets: £10 to include food and a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society

Wednesday 10th October
An Evening with Stephen Briggs: ‘Building a world with Terry
Pratchett’
A talk on mapping Discworld by Terry’s friend and collaborator.
Tickets: £10 with all proceeds split between the Alzheimer’s Society and The Orangutan

Saturday 13th October
An evening celebration: Terry Pratchett’s Life
This will include the screening of a documentary and a talk by friend, colleague and Estate
Manager, Rob Wilkins plus a very special video message from none other than Terry
Pratchett collaborator, Neil Gaiman!
Tickets: £15 all proceeds to go to the Alzheimer’s Society

Let your children’s imaginations run wild at a book cover and colouring
competition to be run by Beaconsfield Library. Entries will be judged by
