FLACKWELL HEATH COMMUNITY LIBRARY AVOID OVERDUE FINES: Get reminders before your books are due COMPETITION Once again we shall be running our Halloween Competition for local schoolchildren. This is a great opportunity for the young ones to engage in some fantastic creativity and produce an entry which really captures all things fun, spooky, ghoulish and scary associated with Halloween. Library Elf emails you when your book loans are almost due for return and when reservations can be collected. You can register all your family’s library cards on one account and get reminders for all the books your family has on loan. Go to www.libraryelf.com In order to give as much scope as possible, children can produce a picture, design a book cover or write a short story all on the theme of Halloween. There will be prizes for the best entry in two groups: Under 7 and 7-11 years old. Closing date for entries is Tuesday 30th October (We are closed on 31st). There will be a prize giving in the library at 11.00am on Saturday 3rd November. Full details will be available in the library from 2nd October.
