Continuing our aim to get everybody
reading, whilst also supporting
our Buckinghamshire-based
authors, we have teamed up with
Aylesbury-based children’s author
Mark Elvy to give you a fantastic prize
for your little ones this month.
The Tales of Fluke & Tash are exciting
stories based on Mark’s very own pets
and the adventures he imagines they
have when he isn’t with them.
Each book in the series of four has
been exclusively signed by Mark
Elvy, just for you. Hiya Bucks will
be picking four winners, at random,
and sending each winner one of the
books in the series.
After a relaxing summer my gardeners are back and they
are as keen as ever.
We had a lot of produce ripen while we were
away, but this didn’t go to waste. Our friends
at Kiln Court were very pleased to receive it. It’s very “secret squirrel” at the moment, but
I’m giving you guys the heads up so watch
this space!
All we have grown this year seems to have
truly excelled itself. I’m not sure if it’s the
new deeper vegetable beds or the sun to
be honest, but we have never grown so
successfully. This is a good thing as Holtspur
School is expanding its growing capacity. Happy Gardening
