Bourne End
Junior Craft Show 7 t h October
On Saturday 7th October Bourne End Library is
the place to be for the Bourne End Junior Craft
Show which is now in its fifth year.
FREE OF CHARGE TO ENTER as always and
with some great prizes on offer, children and young
people aged 4 to 16 inclusive can enter their artwork
in a variety of classes. The classes include painting,
drawing, collage, clay or plasticine model, junk
model, photography, needlework and other crafts
including origami, decoupage and hama beads.
Simply bring entries to the Library between 9.30 am
and 11 am on the day so they can be placed in the correct classes or beat the rush
and come down on Friday 6th between 3 pm and 5 pm!
Our team of judges will be hard at work until 12.30 pm after which the Show will
be open to members of the public to come and look around at the
amazing wealth of talent on display.
Refreshments will be available in return for a small donation to
Library funds.
The grand prize giving is at 1.15 pm
and everyone who enters gets to keep
their entries afterwards. Any entries
or prizes which remain unclaimed on
the day will be held at the Library for
you to collect. We are delighted that
the Parish Council have once again
arranged free parking for us
in the Wakeman Road car
park all day on Saturday
7th October, perfect for
dropping off those entries
first thing and then coming
back again later.
