Hayley Qurashi is our newly appointed Product Advisor in the
Fruit & Veg dept - please pop in and say hello to her.
Hayley began her training in March this year, and thoroughly enjoyed it. When asked what
her favourite thing was to learn, she replied without hesitation, “I loved learning about the
flowers, we have a wide selection available so there was a lot to learn. Dorothy Halford, the
Fruit, Vegetables and Flower specialist taught me everything she knew.” Hayley looks forward
to meeting you and showing off her new found knowledge on the autumn seasonal fruit and
vegetables.
With Halloween coming up we will have many themed foods available to buy. Starting with
the pumpkins ranging from large to small, with carving kits on sale too, to ensure you make
the scariest looking pumpkin ever.
Our Branch charity for 2014 is Penn School and it is the time of the year when we begin to
look forward to their annual fireworks event. It’s a large fundraiser for the school which sees
many residents from the surrounding homes calling in to watch the magnificent display, get
a drink at their pop-up bar or (safely) play with sparklers. We hope to see lots of you there.
Don’t forget to pop into Waitrose Beaconsfield to purchase sizzling sausages and tasty toffee
apples for your Halloween and bonfire night events.

(their hut was burned down recently)
The Beaconsfield School PTFA
(refurbishing school library)
Youth Enquiry Service

Every month each Waitrose branch has £1000 to donate
to their nominated Charities, this is split in proportion to
our customers wishes.
When shopping at Waitrose Beaconsfield do remember

support the local Charity of your choice
from this month’s nominations.
