Old Computers Wanted
Bourne End based registered charity , the Wye Valley Zambia Project , is asking if anyone knows of any local businesses , offices or schools who are updating their computer equipment . We would be very happy to take computers capable of using Windows 7 off your hands ( it saves you paying for disposal ) so long as the data has been wiped to avoid any security issues , and the computers are in good working order .
Working with Libala High School in Lusaka , Zambia , we have been able to assist them in creating a computer suite which can be used by not only their 3,800 + students but the community too . This school is now a Microsoft Showcase School , the ONLY secondary school in Zambia to achieve this status , and this is all thanks to previous donations of computer equipment from organisations here in
Buckinghamshire .
