FLACKWELL HEATH COMMUNITY LIBRARY New Books just arriving We continuously refresh our book stock with newly published works each month and a twice weekly rotation of books from other Buckinghamshire libraries. Many have enjoyed the popular spy novels of John Le Carré, but his latest release is an autobiography called ‘The Pigeon House’, subtitled ‘Stories from my Life’ based on his life in MI5. Other new books at Flackwell Heath include a new Hercule Poirot mystery by Sophie Hannah and latest releases by Val McDermid, Dean Koontz, Josephine Cox, Danielle Steele, Dilly Court and many others. Join our team of Volunteers Do you remember as a child, watching the librarian stamp your book and wish that was you? Well it can be with just a couple of hours training. Flackwell Heath library runs entirely successfully on volunteers. We just need around four hours of your time whenever you can spare it, to work with us in our friendly local library. You will find that it is an interesting and rewarding way to spend a morning or afternoon, while at the same time helping the local community – just ask any of our volunteers.
