She currently works full time at Waitrose whilst searching for any opportunity to write about her passions. She currently writes the monthly Waitrose article in this magazine and movie reviews for an online outlet. Hollie hopes one day to become an Editor but for now, when she’s away from Waitrose, she fills her time with regular trips to the cinema to see the latest movies, socialising with friends and trips to the seaside (when the weather is warmer!). Lexie Local resident Lexie is a huge fan of Hiya Bucks magazine and especially enjoys the Holtspur School Gardening column. Lexie, who at the tender age of 10 is already a budding journalist, tells us: I have a blog called What Lexie Loves where I review lots of things. Because I love reading most of my posts are about books but I also review films, plays, restaurants and days out that I’ve loved. I started my blog because of my passion for reading and writing - one day I want to become a journalist. I was thinking that every month I could write a short book review in Hiya Bucks for your younger readers because although your magazine is enjoyable, there isn’t much for children in it and I want to change that. My aim is to get the whole world reading and with your magazine you can help to make this goal of mine possible. How could we possibly have said no!
