Winter is on the way and we have been busy bringing our geraniums into the greenhouse and taking our root vegetables out! I have also had the pleasure of visiting another school garden in the area. Linda Gladwin from Tylers Green First School very kindly invited me over to see their garden after she had visited ours last term. To get the chance to see another schools garden is always worth the visit as you can easily pick up new ideas. They have a fabulous “private wood” there which I’m very jealous of and each class has their own vegetable bed. Linda has obviously worked incredibly hard and her passion for it is infectious. We have since been swapping seeds and I’m sure when we both have some spare time we will meet up again. Thank you Linda. Back home I am trying to teach myself some basic willow weaving skills.
