We’ll be standing in Sycamore Road (on the pavement I hasten to add) in Amersham on the Hill on Saturday 5th March from 11 am if you want to come over and say Hiya to us. It would be lovely to see you. We’ll be giving out copies of Hiya Bucks Amersham that will be filled with articles about local businesses, reviews, stories and blogs. A personal favourite of mine is the Kitten Diaries, the real life story of how Lucy is getting on with her rather characterful kitten! This new magazine has given me the excuse to find out more about what is happening here in Bucks. Amersham-based Search Dogs Bucks is featured on page 10, I’d never heard of them before so I’m thrilled to be able to help them raise awareness of the good work they do. On average these clever dogs find approximately 50 missing Buckinghamshire people a year, working closely with the Police and other Emergency Services. It’s what Hiya Bucks is all about, letting you know about the wonderful things happening Here … In Your Area. Finally, chocolates you can eat without feeling guilty, see page 26. Honestly, give them a try, they are delicious, especially with a splash of Amaretto in them. Although these ones take longer to set, they certainly don’t take longer to eat.
