Migraines and Me I was eleven when I got my first migraine. This is my story about migraines and me. contribute towards further research for migraines. This was a total shock to me as I can’t believe there is a centre in London that you can attend for free and it is potentially life changing for migraine sufferers! Why have I never heard of this before?! I have good news! I found out that the National Migraine Centre aren’t actually pricey like I said in my last article. They are actually FREE, and the better news is that you don’t have to go via your GP. You can call them, book an appointment and then all you need to do is turn up! If you would like to, you can make a donation for their service. The good thing about this is that you can donate as much or as little as possible and this will Migraines and Me After all my hospital appointments, doctor’s appointments and people I have come into contact with since writing this column, not one person has mentioned the National Migraine Centre to me, until last month. I feel like we need to promote this more and more to hopefully change lives and allow people to feel they can live rather than bob along wondering whether another migraine will occur; I know I do this a lot!!
