The event is taking place on Sunday 7th June and I would love for all you bakers out there to come and enter. The Head Judge will be our resident Chef Rachel from Creative Cooking (I’m hoping I might get to judge too). If you don’t fancy making a cake then please come along and eat cake as we shall be serving a delicious homemade Afternoon Cream Tea. Bring your families and friends for a summer afternoon out where you’ll be able to see all the entries from the competition and maybe taste or buy them too. Full details can be found on page 37. Our featured recipe this month is a gluten and dairy free cake, which I have to say is very tasty. Consequently one of the categories of the Hiya Bucks Best Bake-Off competition is a gluten-free cake.
