Local artist Varvara Neiman is exhibiting her work from
6th June to 22nd June at her new studio in Wycombe End.
A combination of purely classical training with a contemporary imagination
has produced a kaleidoscope of pastoral scenes, neo-Surrealist paintings,
portraits and her acclaimed cityscapes and in an equally diverse range of media
– oil, acrylic, charcoal and watercolour.

Born in St Petersburg, Varvara relies on her extensive education and wide
professional experience in the art world. She currently teaches at various
locations in Buckinghamshire, and also conducts private lessons at her studio.
The themes of her classes are wide in scope: ranging from life drawing,
portraiture and oil painting, to abstract art. Her exhibition is open to the
public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout Open
Studios fortnight.
