Sonia Workman was Rennie Grove’s Biggest Loser in 2015 and says it was an enjoyable and positive experience, well-supported by everyone involved. “I signed up as I was fed up with getting bigger and bigger and feeling unhealthy. I was also worried about being a bad role model for my son,” she says. “I listened to all the advice that the nutritionist provided, hit the gym and took up running and cycling. I told myself that I must be determined and my mantra was ‘don’t think, just do’! Sonia has maintained a healthy weight because she has learned what works best for her in terms of what she eats. She has also set – and achieved – some challenging goals, such as running up the BT Tower, walking all 16 London bridges and taking part in her first marathon.
