Playtime at Westfield A new play facility has just opened at Westfield School in Bourne End which provides a fantastic play and learning facility that meets the needs of the infant children. This facility is separate from the main playground giving the pupils their own unique area. Work started at the beginning of the Spring term, with contractors having to work around the extreme wet weather we all experienced. It has now been finished for several weeks and has seen a lot of use as the weather improves. As you can see from the pictures the young people were only too happy to take a short break from lessons and demonstrate for Hiya Bucks magazine how much fun they have at playtime. All of the children agreed that playtime is now just brilliant and of course they are continuing to learn and develop at the same time.
