Every Sunday morning the ever popular pavilion café is open for coffee, tea, bacon rolls and cakes so that children and parents can enjoy the facilities which now include Wi-Fi. On Sunday 6th July the club will once again be hosting it’s highly successful 6 aside kwik cricket tournament for U10’s with local clubs competing in a round robin then knock out competition all in one morning. Last season we ran a 6 week introduction to cricket course for 5, 6 and 7 year olds on Friday evenings and are planning to do the same again this summer so if you have children that are interested in trying cricket out then please contact us through the website www.wncc.co.uk The club has entered teams in the Bucks leagues at U11, U13,U14,U15 and U17 as well as running a kwik cricket team for the U9’s and below and friendly matches for other ages. A number of our juniors (10 last year) played in the senior teams during last season and we actively support and help develop junior players keen to make the step up to senior cricket as they are the future of our club. The senior section start matches on April 20th and play on Saturday and Sunday through to the end of September. New members are always welcome whether you want to play Saturday league cricket or friendly Sunday matches. The 1st team have narrowly missed promotion from Division 3 of the Thames Valley league for the past 2 seasons and likewise the 2nd team also ended up just below the promotion places in Division 7 last year.
