Ben has just competed at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games and did Team GB proud. He attended Juniper Hill School (Flackwell Heath) and then John Hampden Grammar School and I am sure he is, and will be, an inspiration to many. I’m hoping to catch up with Ben for an interview in next month’s edition. This month I have lots of new, local, information for you. Did you know about the Holtspur Butterfly conservation area that is right on our doorstep, or that children from Chernobyl are still hosted every summer here in the Chilterns? Well the sun is finally shining, summer is just around the corner and this means that the cricket season is once again upon us. Wooburn Narkovians Cricket Club opens it’s doors on Easter Sunday so pop down for a bacon roll and cup of tea and watch the colts in action (from 10 a.m.). Stay safe Helen Hiya Bucks also produce the Beaconsfield, Penn & Tylers Green edition.
