What is Message in a Bottle?
It is simply a plastic bottle containing
paperwork about you and your health
requirements and should be kept in the fridge
at all times.
Why should I have one?
This bottle will contain important information
about your health or that of the person you
are caring for. Once completed, it will give
details of your doctor’s name, the medication
you are taking and any allergies you might
have. Anything that tells the emergency
services instantly about a person’s health.
Paramedics and other staff have been
trained to look in the fridge for these bottles
to assist them with their care of
you and this in turn will help to
ensure that you receive the most
appropriate treatment following
any accidents in your home.
