Here at Waitrose Beaconsfield we pride ourselves on the hard work and commitment of our Partners . For some of them , this is their first job before university and travelling and they find a balance between their work and their studies . For others , this is their career , and they have provided years of faithful service to our store and its customers . This month I want to honour one such partner , who having worked for the Partnership for sixteen years , has always worked hard to keep the car park clean and the trolleys full . His name is Craig Hunter .

Craig , 34 , began his working life working Saturdays at a newsagent in Marlow . But in 2000 , he got a job at Waitrose in Marlow working in the car park . He made his move to Beaconsfield in June 2011 and can always be spotted outside with a row of trolleys in hand and a smile on his face . A hit with the regulars , Craig always wishes people a ‘ Good Morning ’ and never complains no matter what the weather may be . When asked what he liked about the job , Craig said ‘ I like the atmosphere and all the friendly customers and staff .’
Working in the Car Park is a continually tiring job with bad weather and busy periods forcing Craig to push himself . Over an eight hour shift , you can very easily walk a few miles , and from experience I can tell you that it leaves you with sore feet and aching muscles . So as Summer starts to wind down , moving into Autumn , I want to thank Craig on his continual hard work and commitment to our branch
Every month this Waitrose branch has £ 1000 to donate to our nominated Charities , this is split in proportion to our customers wishes . When shopping at Waitrose High Wycombe do remember to pick up your green token at the tills and help us to support the local Charity of your choice from this month ’ s nominations .
